poster assignment
For my poster assignment, I chose to advertise St. Joseph's Robotics Team, because I am a member myself. The background is a gradient in our school colours, blue and yellow. The robot symbol in the middle is our team logo. This was also made in media arts class. This is being held up by an innovative robotics arm. I chose this arm because it looks futuristic, and shows what a hardworking and determined robotics team can do! Also, the "Robotics" title was found online, and I used the background eraser, to erase the background. Lastly, the font I chose was to be eye-catching and go with the theme of robots. The blue, red and black stand out on the yellow and making it noticeable. I knew the info, because I am on the team so no research was required. I think this makes a great poster looking for new members.
liquify
Before...
and after?
I tried to liquify this model to give her correct posture. Before, she was slouched and leaning forward. Afterwards, I made her stand upright, enhanced her breasts and bum and made her hair longer. I also made the background white so that it would not be distorted. Throughout this process, it was difficult to keep her facial structure the same. I attempted to turn her head more to the front, but her chin and neck were not aligned. I apologize for the un-human look on her face, but I tried my best.
Blemish removal
Before...
and after!
Before, the women had many pimples on her face and some discolouration. With the blemish-removal tool I removed the pimples and bags under her eyes to brighten her face. I also defined her eyebrows, lips and nose. Lastly, I sharpened the image so it didn't look as out of focus.
